My Favorite Things

Sharing some of my favorite items1 that I use to study, write, and enjoy the Word!

Paper/Stationary

  1. This B5 blank page journal is a new favorite. I prefer blank as opposed to dots or lines because I like the freedom to be able to draw or write freely when I Bible journal or write out thoughts and reflections while meditating on scripture. After my Anytime Today® Journal, this is my favorite journal right now!

  2. I add organization to my journaling with these smaller size (which come with a pen for writing on the notes as a bonus) and these larger size circle transparent sticky notes. I use them to write the category, title, or thought that I’m writing about. For example if I’m taking notes from a sermon I’ll write the title on the notes. When I need more space I will use one of these larger boxy transparent notes.

  3. These are my current favorite writing pens. Light and pretty!

  4. I use this bag to carry my B5 journals, pens, all of my sticky notes, Bible, and whatever else I need. I have the green color and love it! Easy to carry to bible studies, around the house when I’m going from upstairs to downstairs to read or study or to take with me in the car.

  5. I recently purchased this set of New Testament Bible journals which turn each book of the New Testament into its own journal. Scripture on one page and a blank page for notes on the other. It is my new favorite thing and I’m thrilled to deep dive into scripture using these!

Others

  1. Guess It Bible Card Game. My children love this game, especially my 11 year old. The cards give you clues in order from challenging to easy and you try to guess the person, place, or thing described. It’s great for roadtrip games, end of the night, at dinner while waiting for your food at a restaurant. We really enjoy it and you can usually find it for under $10!

  2. Our children’s Bible, the Adventure Bible. We love that it has scripture so they can follow along during service or study but it appeals to them with the colors and pages inside. It’s the NKJV translation.
