Most often, before I write, I process, I think out loud, I meditate, I have conversations with myself, my husband, my friends. This video (and last week’s video) is what part of that looks like. I enjoy sharing this “thinking out loud” with you and loved hearing back from so many of you last week! Just yesterday I read this as part of Oswald Chambers’ daily devotional “My Utmost for His Highest” where he was speaking of 1 Peter 1:5 on adding to your faith virtue. “Add means that we must get into the habit of doing things, and in the initial stages that is difficult. To take the initiative is to make a beginning-to instruct yourself in the way you must go.” He also speaks of getting into the habit of carefully listening to God about everything.
As I seek God I found the timing of this devotional addressing 1 Peter 1:5-8 as it continues thru tomorrow an example of God’s love for me.
